I bought this right before my husband died and didn™™t get around to changing it to propane and actually using it until about a year and a half after. It worked ok, we had to turn the propane off every time we used it otherwise it would just leak propane. I replaced the propane cylinder, the fuel line and was meticulous with the gas sealing tape. Anyway, about 8 months of use (rarely used the oven), the gas flow was almost non-existent and the oven wouldn™™t heat. I trouble shot everything and waaa informed it was likely the thermostat which is over $100. In the mean time a friend let me borrow a Camp Chef and when I pulled out the oven (which had been done recently within the last two weeks) I was horrified to see the cabinet completely charred. We quite literally could have died. There was plenty of space so this NEVER should have happened. This was my first brand new stove and I already have to replace her. I can™™t afford to. Maybe I will just start cooking over a fire. What a waste of hard earned money and a slap in the face to a disabled single mom.

Thought we got a good deal, turns out it lasted 3months then the thermostat or safety shut off, possibly went out, can no longer use oven to cook food.
1. AISupport is garbage and not working. (Error occured, multiple attempts)
2. Their human customer support is non existent and hidden
3. No technicians available in my area.
You get what you pay for, don't buy GE or HOTPOINT in the future..
Not letting this go, will keep calling and complaining until someone will honor the 'limited' warrantee.

Overall it™™s a good functional range. I do feel however, that it falls short on not having any oven temperature readout or ready indicator It™™s personally. Not the best choice of range by way of today™™s technology. It is again, however, a functional range that cooks well.

I bought the product and the first one the oven part of it didn™™t work. Got the replacement and everything works. Overall performance of the stove is amazing and works great. The place I got it from kinda suck on the delivery side and installation. If I rate them, probably like a 2 star but more towards 1 star due to the replacement of the new range when the first one didn™™t work

This GE Gas Range was installed today. While it™™s a basic design (no clock, timer, etc.), it looks nice. So far, the only thing that I would change is the broiler. The door simply plops open/closed™"it™™s not a pull out ™drawer.™ There is a rack, however, the position of the rack can™™t be changed.

The only reason why I gave a 4 star instead of 5 stars is because there is no digital clock or oven timer on this range. It was my mistake for not verifying this. It was a great sale price purchase but I saw the range and price on the Lowe™™s app, went into my local Lowe™™s to order & pay but they had no floor display for me to notice that there was no clock/oven timer. Otherwise, nice standard stove.

i got lucky when my oven broke down my friend bought this for me. I love it. it is basic but it heats up fast looks nice burners are click start up fast not clicking for a minute or more its seconds. oven heats up fast too. the only downside is the broiler door doesnt slide out it just drops down to open then you have to pull the slide out. i used my old broiler pan so i dont have to worry about clean up from drippings.

I was able to do the install by myself im a 62 yr old woman. Its a basic range but it heats up fast. The only downside is the broiler door doesnt slide out it just opens you have to get down to pull the slide out but i use my other briiler pan easy peasy.

Keep it simple. I had to get a new range because my old one had lots of electronics. The mother board went bad and the new one lasted about a week. This model has one electronic feature, ignition. Thank God!

If I could give it less stars I would. Stove came damaged from manufacture. Didn™™t know it was damaged for months, realized we were smelling excessive gas smell and it has a cut that shoots flames right as you open the broiler door. As a mom of a 2 year old I am very unhappy as to that is very dangerous and could™™ve severely hurt my child. I wish I was happier with the stove. Trying to figure out the warranty process hasn™™t been easy either.

Bought a week ago and installed days later when it was delivered. Its nice.. larger cooktop than i thought. The oven kicks on/heats up quickly but the overwhelming smell of gas and how much it blows out is a little unsettling. The different size burners and the way you have to turn the knob all the way around just to light is strange. Other than that i just hope it last as long as my last one. (16yrs)

My husband just bought me this new oven!!! Has your normal 4 burners, an oven and a broiler! The only downside to this oven is it does not have a clock on the panel and the knobs to the oven are in reach of my toddler.

I've owned this Oven for 2 1/2 weeks and used it almost daily. It's working great! My previous (different brand) oven had been a lemon from day one. Had it for 8 years and the oven temperature was always fluctuating. It would shoot way high in the middle baking something and burn it, or it would drop low and take way longer to cook. It was a hassle for 8 years. This oven is working perfectly! I turn it on and it goes to the temperature I set it at, and stays there. Loving it!
